Early stage — selecting our first pilot companies

AI-powered
construction operations.

BENAIAH helps construction teams turn scattered project information into organised risks, missing information, priorities and next actions — while people remain responsible for every important decision.

For general contractors and construction companies managing active projects in South Africa.

01 — The problem

The cost of disconnected work

01

Information is scattered

Drawings sit in one inbox, instructions in WhatsApp, costs in a spreadsheet, progress in someone's head. Nobody has one reliable view of the project.

02

Important updates get buried

The message that changes the programme arrives between forty that don't. It is read, not registered — and the consequence only shows up weeks later.

03

Admin eats the expertise

Experienced people spend their days searching, chasing, re-typing and compiling reports instead of running the work they were hired to run.

04

Decisions are made late

When risks and gaps surface only at the monthly meeting, the cheap window to act has already closed and the argument becomes a claim.

Construction site at dusk with tower cranes over a multi-storey structure

None of this is a people problem. It is what happens when a project's information lives in twenty places and nothing is watching all of them. That is the problem BENAIAH is being built to solve, starting with general contractors and construction companies running active projects in South Africa.

02 — What we are building

What BENAIAH is designed to do

Organise project information

Documents, updates, spreadsheets, drawings and messages brought into one structured project record instead of a dozen folders and threads.

Surface risks and gaps

Changes, contradictions and expected-but-missing information flagged with a link back to the source they came from.

Summaries and actions

Draft progress summaries, meeting notes and action lists with owners — prepared for a person to check, edit and approve.

Keep teams on track

Open actions, outstanding information and unresolved risks stay visible until somebody closes them.

BENAIAH is intended to assist people, not replace them. It does not make engineering, contractual, safety, quantity-surveying or financial decisions — project managers, QSs and site agents do.

Planned product workflow

How BENAIAH is designed to work

The seven stages below describe the product we are building. They are not all live today. Nothing here is offered as a working service until it has been built and tested with a pilot company.

  1. 01

    Project information is brought in

Drawings, contracts, BOQs, programmes, spreadsheets, emails and site updates — the material that already exists on your project.

  2. 02

    A controlled project workspace

During future pilots, approved project information will be brought into a controlled project workspace, set up with you and limited to what you agree to share.

  3. 03

The AI agent builds project memory

The agent reads and structures the material into a working memory of the project: scope, dates, costs, responsibilities and commitments.

  4. 04

    It monitors what arrives next

New documents and updates are compared against that memory, so a change is recognised as a change instead of another attachment.

  5. 05

    Risks and gaps are detected

Slipping dates, unpriced variations, contradictions and missing documents raised early, each traceable to its source.

  6. 06

    Actions, alerts and reports

The agent drafts actions with owners and prepares alerts and reports. A person reviews and approves before anything is sent.

  7. 07

The team works from the Command Center

One view of status, risks, open actions and outstanding information — for the site team and the office.

Concept demo — sample data — not a live customer project

This is a concept demonstration of the BENAIAH Command Center, built on invented sample data to show how the product is intended to present information. The assistant below answers from a script; it is not analysing a live construction project.

No customer results, case studies or performance claims appear on this site, because we do not have any yet.

Risks & missing information (example)

  • High

    Rebar delivery slipped 6 days

Detected in: supplier email, 14 Aug — affects Level 2 slab pour

  • Medium

Variation VO-014 has no approved cost

Detected in: site instruction vs. cost tracker mismatch

  • Missing

No signed method statement for façade works

Expected document not found in project memory

Suggested actions (example)

  • Confirm revised rebar date with supplier

    Owner: Site Agent

  • Price VO-014 and submit for approval

    Owner: QS

  • Circulate week 34 progress summary

    Owner: PM

Weekly summary draft (example)

Structure to level 2 is progressing; the slab pour is exposed to a six-day rebar delay. One variation is unpriced and one required document is missing. Three items need an owner before Friday. Every statement links back to the document or message it came from, and a human confirms before anything is sent.

04 — Early access

Founding Pilot Programme

We are looking for our first small group of South African construction companies to test BENAIAH against real project workflows. BENAIAH is currently selecting its first construction companies for the founding pilot programme — there are no pilot partners yet, and founding companies will help shape what gets built first.

01

Discovery call

We learn how your company currently handles reports, schedules, instructions, variations, project documents and updates.

02

Workflow selection

Together we identify one repetitive or expensive information problem worth solving.

03

Prototype

If discovery identifies a problem BENAIAH can realistically solve, we build a small prototype around that specific workflow. If it does not, we say so and no prototype is promised.

04

Real-project pilot

With your permission, the prototype is tested using approved information from one project.

05

Measure results

We measure whether it saves time, improves visibility or reduces missed information.

06

Decide what happens next

If it creates real value, we discuss a paid ongoing service. If it does not, we say so honestly.

05 — Who we are

Founder

Founder & CEO

Gomolimo Innocent Masina

Founder & CEO of BENAIAH

Gomolimo founded BENAIAH to explore how AI can reduce the administrative burden created by fragmented construction project information. He leads the company's product direction, customer discovery and early pilot development.

Founder-led today

BENAIAH is currently founder-led. Specialist engineering, construction and operational expertise will be added as the company develops and as pilot requirements become clear.

06 — FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

Does BENAIAH replace project managers?

No. BENAIAH is designed to assist your team, not to substitute for it. It reads, organises, flags and drafts; it does not decide, instruct, approve or commit anything on your behalf, and it does not make engineering, contractual, safety, quantity-surveying or financial decisions. Project managers, QSs and site agents keep full authority and judgement. Every output is presented for a person to review, edit or reject.

Is the product finished?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. BENAIAH is an early-stage company and the full platform described on this page is the planned product, not a live service. The Command Center shown here is a concept demonstration built on sample data, and the assistant in it answers from a script. We are looking for our first construction companies to help us build and test the first working version.

Does it work with the tools we already use?

That is the intent. Construction projects run on email, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, PDFs and drawings, and BENAIAH is being designed around that reality rather than asking teams to abandon it. We will only describe a specific integration as available once it genuinely works.

How does the founding pilot programme work?

It starts with a 15-minute discovery call about how information moves on your projects. Together we pick one repetitive or expensive information problem. If it is something BENAIAH can realistically help with, we build a small prototype for that workflow and, with your permission, test it against approved information from one project. We agree up front what success means, measure it, and report the outcome honestly — including if it did not work.

How does pricing work?

We are not publishing price lists. The discovery call and the workflow conversation are free and carry no obligation. If a pilot goes ahead and creates real value, commercial terms for an ongoing service are agreed in writing with that company.

What happens to our project information?

Nothing is required from you before a discovery call. If a pilot goes ahead, we agree in writing what information is shared, how it is used and how long it is kept. Your information remains yours, it is not sold, and we do not use it to train shared models. We aim to handle personal information in accordance with POPIA — the details are in our Privacy Policy.

07 — Get started

Book a 15-minute discovery call

Tell us about one project and the admin that costs you most. We will explain honestly what exists today and what is still being built, and whether a founding pilot makes sense for your company. There is no cost and no obligation.

Your details are sent directly to BENAIAH. No account required.
